The Western New England Psychoanalytic Society is a professional association of practicing psychoanalysts that provides continuing education and outreach to mental health practitioners and trainees, to professionals in other disciplines, and to organizations. Offerings include monthly lectures, an annual symposium, a variety of courses for many different levels, and a training program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The Society also sponsors The New Haven Psychoanalytic Research Training Program and The Muriel Gardiner Program in Psychoanalysis and the Humanities. Continuing education credits are available for many of the programs.
