Scholar's Course Description

This is a two year program for scholars and academics interested in psychonalytic theory and its application to their work.  The program has two components.  The first consists of seminars in analytic theory.  The faculty of the Western New England Institute offers a perspective on early and contemporary psychoanalytic theory informed by their immersion in psychoanalytic practice.

The second component addresses the use of psychoanalytic concepts in the participants' scholarly work.  This segment includes tutorials, study groups, and workshops in which participants present and develop their work.  The faculty will offer perspectives on and raise questions about the scholars' specific research projects. 

Eligibility: The program is appropriate for scholars and investigators interested in applying psychoanalytic theory to their research.  Applicants may be faculty, graduate students or professionals. This program is not designed for clinicians.

Fees: Tuitions is $150 per course for graduate students.
                            $450 per course for faculty.
